Key West Noon Rotary swore in its newest President last Thursday during its weekly meeting at Trumbo Palms Conference Center on NAS Key West's Trumbo Point Annex. Janice Long assumed the leadership position from outgoing chapter president Joe Albury. In her role as president, Long will lead the Key West Noon Rotary chapter for one year. Key West's Noon Rotary Club is an organization of community business and professional leaders who integrate with other Rotary clubs around the world to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace. Here in Key West, the Noon Rotary chapter raises tens of thousands of dollars annually and is returned back to the local community in the form of scholarships and youth program grants. The first Rotary club was foun <<JoeAlbury_JaniceLong.jpg>> ded in Chicago, Illinois, USA on 23 February 1905. The Rotary Club of Key West was chartered April 16, 1916.
